A girl at the mall
I was dumb enough to try the GYG Burrito today whilst I had Elizabeth in a carrier.
That thing is not edible with one hand.
I also chose to sit in the most terrible place - I had no where to put Elizabeth. I later realised on level 5 there are large bench seats where i could lay her down next to me so she could watch me eat.
This random young girl saw me struggle (cause Izzy understandably didn't want to lay on a hard table) to hold and eat a burrito at the same time, offered to hold her for me while I ate.
So I said yes, and ate lol. She said she was waiting for a phone call and didn't have anything else to do anyhow. It was a bit akward but it was nice that she offered, and i didn't mind accepting. And then I thanked her and she left.
Izzy was extra well behaved. I think she wanted a feed also but for the moment she was contented to be held in her preferred position.
Toddler conversations
On the level of conversation, I think Wendy is somewhere in the top 5%
Here is a conversation from this morning
"Mum I want bluey"
"Can you help me?"
(she gets out the stool, and its hard to open cause its tightly shut)
"Mum"
(I'm doing something and i'm slow to help)
"MUM ITS YOUR JOB TO HELP. MUM. OPEN THE STOOL. ITS YOUR JOB"
LOL.
and I said "but I saw you open the stool by yourself last week. Why can't you do it today?" then she keeps struggling to do it and eventually "ooo! I did it."
Yes Wendy. You can do it. You just need to suffer a little to get there.
