Australians watched the USA Biden v Trump debate with... sad popcorn.
Sad because neither side looked good for anything
and popcorn because everyone thinks it's gonna be Trump 2.0
We have whole shoes by our media devoted to US politics that are somewhat interesting. And somewhat droll
The UK
So. new PM and new party.
Sounds like it was needed.
I get my info from the same media as above. There is a lot of interest in Australia in UK politics but considering we are commonwealth country that isn't surprising.
The girls
More jelousy from Wendy towards her sister.
She loves her, I can see it, but she does at times want what her baby sister has but she has realised she can't have.
Izzy remains a baby who is easily put to sleep.
She drank a lot less milk for 2 days before a giant poop last week leaving me with pain that made me fear potential infection. I resisted pumping cause I wasn't sure if she actually drank less or not. She defiantly slept a whole lot better than previously, for 2 nights i got basically full nights of sleep.
But then she went back to her old sucky milk loving self, waking up 2-4x a night and the boobs feel back to their normal self.
Why are charcoal BBQ so hard to light
I got the shits with it. How many times have I struggled over this?!
Such that I took out my butane camp stove and put charcoals directly into the flames and lit them up the cheater way. Got the BBQ going marginally more successfully then.
An hour later I realised i hadn't lit enough coal.
But enough to slow roast a bunch of vegetables very very nicely. but Slowly. Like hours and hours.
I want to run another BBQ to do more practice.
Mat leave feels like a holiday.
Soon the real world will return.
