Wendy update

whitewriterFavourite songs: old Mac Donald (this is so cute, she says the ei ei o bits sometimes, but gets them sorta wrong like she will say ee ee o --) and in Mc Donald's farm its always a meow meow. Before I'd get a chance to ask her whats in the farm, and now she just says Meow meow before I can even ask. And its always a Meow meow. I'm working on doggy or other animals i know she can say (like Duck) but for now every animal in Mac Donald's farm (or my joke, Mc Wendy's farm) is a .... meow meow...
hairstyle: Tree, but she only allows rubber band style hair ties. I think the thicker (less snaggy) type which I usually use, are heavier on her head - so she feels it, and pulls it off almost as fast as I can put them in.
Favourite foods: rice and any clear-ish soup, mince anything except (see the next bit), cooked apple, pasta cooked soft. cut up cucumbers in sticks and other harder vegitables like uncooked beans (but she bites bits off and then throws them around to my dismay.
Current least favourite foods: Pumpkin - if she know's it's in something, then good luck getting her to eat it. Meatballs that are not steamed or boiled (I guess its a bit firm on the outside - but if its from soup, that's fine).
Favourite toys: bear bear (from Nonnie), Kegal (almost lost him on Sunday going to Shirley's and I had a mini heart attack in the 5 mins before we found him on the nature strip). Those battery operated talking books- keeps you occupied.
Words you mispronounce: "Gocks" (socks).
words you say well: Ducks, meow meow, car, Mumma, Daddy, poh poh (but I think she finds that hard to say), poo poo (lolz),
Where you are at with the potty:I try to sit you on there before bath after dinner if you haven't pooped yet but no dice, instead you will poop in the bath even if I have distracted you on the potty for a good 3 mins. Wendy says "ssssssssssss" when she then watches me pee on the toilet. So. She know's something is going in there. We are therefore in full nappies otherwise.
Sense of identity: Wendy will pat herself on her belly or chest if I ask her "Who is Wendy?" "Who is Gwendolyn?" (so she knows she has 2 names) and "Who is baby?" lol. Well. For a little while longer at least she is baby. I need to take the time to teach her that others are baby now...
But you can always be my baby.
