Cold turkey

whitewriterI swear yesterday, when I tried to pat Wendy back to sleep it just made her cried harder. I felt her cry meant well if your gonna pat me just pick me up already!
I also went cold turkey with the dummy from midnight because she threw it out of the cot and in that moment I decided I ain't being some slave to put I back in. So I didn't and somehow right since then she's slept better than ever before.
Now if I can just find the time for more excersize....
I've also decided we need a dish washing machine. I've never had one or lived with one except on holiday in serviced apartments. They sound fantastic and as I really want to embrace home cooking.... I think this is necessary.
Don't know where we will put it... That's the next hurdle I suppose. The kitchen is rather small.
