Living "the best life"
Aug. 19th, 2022 02:41 pmAs long as you go with it - and your adaptable and have less "thinking and worrying" (and only 1 child to boot) you can get a lot done before 10am. As long as "a lot done" means, not embarking on a fiddly project that involves your whole attention/takes up large (or even small parts) of the house like painting one's nails or mopping and polishing the floor.
Today I decided to check out the aeroplane viewing platform at Mascot near Sydney airport.
Wendypendy was getting stroppy right at exactly 2 hours post waking so I hussled her little butt into the car quick-smart after a nappy check and a mutual let's wash our faces in rosewater and moisturise (or mine would never get done) and into the car we went. After 40mins of me getting semi lost around the airport, Wendy fell asleep and I found the maccas everyone on google reviews had spoke highly of. Using the app as I had recently recommended by my cousins (at which point I had said no thank you don't need an excuse to spend $8 on 30 nuggets and 2 burgers) I found $1 large fries - got those - and sat watching the aeroplanes (bragging about it on FB stories) going past, ate cold fries and Wendy pendy slept in the back seat.
I really want to take Pete here on a date because he loves aeroplanes and I want to hear him prattle on about the wings and aerodynamics and whatever models do whatever thing that I've never known about or never realised anyone outside the airline industry might ever have thought to know about.
My Canadian cousin viewed the story on fb and I apologised for how boring it was but she said "no it looks like your living your best life over there" so I figured, well. I'm glad it looks that way to outsiders.
I thought it was a rad reason to go for a drive and deliver a water bottle Belinda left at the bottom of my pram from the C2S walk.
