My review of Energy and Light by Oracle

Oracle has her own website - Scroll through her many stories to find Energy and Light.
To round off my weekend of fanfiction (which I have decided must come to an end) I've ended it with a very sweet casefile romance titled "Energy and Light".
Whilst there is no significant prose to speak of, the author makes her points simply and it's easy to read. The premise is simple: 4 girls are missing, and they need to find them. The solution is somewhat cheesy but romantic and it's the x-files: anything could happen.
There's one plot hole that I kept thinking about: Mulder walks through the forest without shoes and for at least 30 minutes and there's no consequences? It's terrible being a realist.
I did struggle to remember which part of the xf continuum the story was in. At times I thought we were somewhat early in the partnership, however other events made me realise it was S5/6 (which I should know considering the spoilers are listed for those seasons).
If you've missed simple casefile and beginning romance, than this story is for you.
