Birthday Tea

whitewriterI made sangria and that Italian buttercream covered coffee cake recipie thats legendary in my family, and it was made to perfection, with a machine however.
Sorry mum but I ain't not hand whipping cream for 5-6 hours if a machine can do it in like, 15-30 mins.
We sat in the shade.
I was fearful in the days prior that it would be too hot but it was lovely.
I asked for nil presents but somehow still managed to get a few.
On Sunday, pete must have felt guilty or something and took Wendy to the city to shop around for something. They came home with a spatula which we needed, but was the wrong sort (cause its for non stick pans, and our pans are stainless steel-- the non stick ones can melt so really there's no point having non-stick when a stainless steel one would be better, so I'll be returning and maybe swapping that one out at some point). And a bottle of scent. lol. For... I don't know really exactly what. Aromatherepy.
Apparently Pete made Wendy smell all the smells and then she picked one. So really, I feel like I can't return that one since she did choose it.
Not sure what I'm going to do with the bottle of scent. Maybe I can put it in the car...
Guys. I like cake. I like party. I'm too old for gifts. I literally have everything I've ever wanted ... already. Legit. What I actually want, is less stuff to be honest...
But anyways overall the thought was really nice. Now what am I to do with another snoopy figurine... key chain and 3 more tea towels.
Actually I really like tea towels... they have endless uses...
