The museum
Wendy seems to finally have lost her attachment issues. She easily held my friend's daughter's hand. Followed my friend fine. Wasn't much clingy at all. Seemed to know I would come back.
From mid Feb to end May. 3 mo to get used to her place with Elizabeth.
My old supervisor
Was a good guy. One day I'll pop into old uni and see him. If the fates align and he's in.
Apparently he's sold up his old inner west house (twice the size of mine) and bought an apartment in sunny beach side area.
He has a daughter and a son - but today I learned that the son is now a daughter.
Pete says that once someone has has transitioned your not allowed to refer to them in their past /birth gender. Even past reference need to be aligned to the current identity.
My buddy said my old supervisor was coping well with it all she thought as he recently thanked both his daughters at an awards thingo.
I can't imagine if either of my girls came out to say they changed gender. Probably these days -- it's still very hard but much better than 50 years ago.
aw my name is still on the website listed as an honours student
