Hem Ben Ik by Livia Balaban

whitewriterJust sped read through Hem Ben Ik - started last night and finished it at breakfast. With one main plot twist (discovered in a sort of modestly unbelievable way. Like come on,-- that's how Skinner realises the truth about Agent Vox?!). XF seems to contribute quite well to the category of clonefic (if such a category exists.. I'm sure it does...).
The original character of Agent Vox is actually pretty exciting. She's as charming as Mulder (when he wants to be)... and as clever as he is... and apparently as good looking ...
livia does a better job with Scully in this fic (compared to Cunegand's restoration). Perhaps because it is part of her angsty set of fics rather than her happy set. At the end, she promises a sequel and I have yet to find it.
On her website it lists the fic as 177k whilst on Gossamer it's only 145k. However when I go to load it off her website, I only get half the story that was on Gossamer.
In my travels to find more ... I come across this weird website:

It's like jumping back into the 90s. I want to trawl through the archives almost, just because it exists. There's no system for ratings or recommendation - so the only way to know if it's any good is to ... start reading ....
