Jun. 17th, 2021 04:21 pmIt took me 4 days of near constant reading (between shifts - and sometimes during I have to admit) to finish this one, but I'm so glad I did.
What a ride!
Who knew seasons 1-7 mytharc could be wrapped up in such an action packed, deliciously making sense and being so true to the series as a whole.
Fialka had beta help, and it clearly shows in the craftsmanship of each scene, in her prose. Bringing Kreske into a fuller character was genius.
A bittersweet ending.
100% in my top 10.
I can't believe I hadn't read this one before. I'm fairly sure that I have not (despite knowing about it as a "famous fic").

Can't believe that story is 21 years old. It's older enough to drink in the US.
I want to do a deeper dive review on this amazing fic but this may take some time. I may have to settle for reading the reviews of others on fanlore.
