3 months of no dairy
Oct. 1st, 2022 08:40 pmI gave up dairy at the beginning of June.
I miss cheese mostly.
I miss butter secondly.
Milk and cream I only miss because they're in cake -
so I can't have pastry (not a big deal 'cause pastry in Australia is sorta shit anyway) but cake, cake is something I like a lot.
Not that I want to have it every day.
But ... you know when you can't have something, how you. just want it more than ever.
I tried coles Vegan belgium chocolate cake and whilst it was very good, I could taste it used a margarine like butter substitute.
I crave things like bread and butter - so I've got nuttelex "buttery" in the fridge.
I can't cut carbs because then I'm already sad about the diary, don't kill me now....
Imagine doing some sort of low carb thing without cheese.
Worse than having the diabetes. At least I could have greek yoghurt and cheese.
